#Green Shipping Summit
The push towards shipping sustainability continues, it only changes its target, feeling no consequences from the pandemic. Will the request to further reduce sulfur emissions lead to the imposition of an Ultra-Low sulfur zone in the Mediterranean? The most ambitious, difficult and potentially disruptive goal is the reduction of CO2 emissions, as required by the European plan for reaching carbon-neutrality by 2050. To achieve this goal, we need technological innovations, new fuels, new propulsions, combined with the research for energy efficiency and the reduction of the environmental impact of maritime transport at 360 degrees.
